When should wedding photos unlock?

A shared camera has one decision that matters more than the rest: the moment the album opens and everybody finally sees.
Choose it well and the reveal becomes its own small event. Choose it badly and you have either a feed running through the middle of your party or an album nobody remembered to look forward to. This guide walks the options and what each one suits.
Breakfast the next morning: the default
Nine in the morning is the wedding preset, and the logic carries most events. The evening gets to be an evening, nobody stands at the bar scrolling, and the album lands while everyone is holding coffee and wants to relive last night anyway.
At a wedding it does something extra. The couple wakes to the whole party seen from their guests' side of the room, and the run-through becomes the weekend's second high point rather than a file transfer.
The last dance: for a room that is still together
Unlocking at midnight, or whenever the party winds down, suits groups who are actually in the room when it happens. Bachelorette weekends, birthdays and New Year's Eve all qualify. The album opens while everyone is still there, and it becomes the closing number.
The cost is that the evening ends on a screen. For parties that live on the dance floor, the morning after is usually the better call.
Days later: for trips and long events
A weekend away needs a camera window measured in days, and the reveal belongs after everyone has travelled home. The album from the trip opens on Tuesday, and the group chat gets a second peak exactly when the week is at its greyest.
Office parties work the same way. Unlock at lunch the next day, or Monday morning, and the coffee machine has something to gather around.
